Assessment first
We start with a garment and material assessment so the work is based on the actual fabric, seams, and construction. That keeps expectations clear and helps shape a result that suits the piece.
We redesign, alter, and upcycle clothing with a focus on fit, fabric, and the life already in each garment.
StitchCraft Atelier works with dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, vintage pieces, and garments with personal meaning. Every project begins with an assessment of construction, condition, and the changes needed to shape a realistic result.
From redesign consultations to fit updates and fabric-reuse accessories, our work is guided by clear approval steps and practical craftsmanship. We aim to give each piece a new purpose while respecting what can and cannot be changed in the original garment.

Every decision at the atelier is shaped by careful review, honest guidance, and the goal of making clothing more useful for longer.

Redesigns are reviewed before approval, and custom quotes are prepared after the garment has been inspected. If extra materials are needed, they are quoted separately once availability is confirmed.
Our remodelling work includes dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, and upcycled accessories. We focus on practical changes that respect the garment's structure and the limits of the existing fabric.
Appointments are arranged in advance, with fitting times usually ranging from twenty to sixty minutes. That gives enough room to review the fit, finish, and any final details before collection.
The studio was built for customers who want to keep wearing garments they already value, rather than replacing them too quickly.
Since 2021, StitchCraft Atelier has focused on tailoring appointments in Pontassieve, with time set aside for inspection, discussion, and fitting. That process helps define what the garment needs before any final quote is confirmed.
We often work with sustainability minded customers, vintage clothing owners, and people bringing in sentimental garments. Each project is handled as a custom piece, with the concept, scope, and materials reviewed before work begins.
The result is a studio practice that values careful remodelling over rushed changes. Every garment is checked again at collection, and any final adjustment is handled with the original design agreement in mind.
